Freelancer.com Review : Payment Plans, Pros and Cons

Table of Contents

Freelancer is the biggest and has been the fastest growing outsourcing marketplace. The biggest boost for Freelancer.com came after acquiring two of the biggest names in the industry. GetAFreelancer.com and EUFreelance.com both founded by Swedish internet entrepreneur Magnus Tibell. Freelancer.com then went ahead to conquer the space by acquiring several other outsourcing marketplaces. Recently they acquired vWorker. The community is helpful and their customer service is outstanding. With over 13 million members I believe it has the highest rate of new projects posted on the internet.

The feature that makes Freelancer.com stand out from the rest of other marketplaces is the Membership Plan. Unlike most marketplaces that offer a maximum of three plans, Freelancer.com has up to six membership plans. That makes it the best for all budgets and business sizes.

Freelancer.com Review Payment Methods

Paypal, Skrill, Payoneer, Bank Transfer

Pros

Huge number of projects available: There are over 13 million users on the website and a good number of them are employers.

A variety of Projects:

The tasks and services you can offer through this website are really wide. Ranging from software development to data entry.

A variety of payment options:

This is probably the number one reason why I started out with Freelancer.com. My favorite payment option has always been skrill and back then, Freelancer.com was the best outsourcing marketplace with skrill.

Great accessibility:

Freelancer.com is actually the easiest marketplace to use; from account setup to the bidding process.

Cons

Customer Service is slow:

Many people have complained about slow customer service.

To be able to place more bids, you will need to pay a monthly fee. The good thing is, if you know how to bid to win freelance projects, then the 10 free bids can actually help you get started.

Here’s a quick way to avoid scam and fake jobs on freelance sites.

Other Sites like Freelancer.com include;
